Deep Learning Workshop

SDS|2018 Pre-Conference Event

The Deep Learning Workshop is a pre-conference event of the 5th Swiss Conference on Data Science – SDS|2018. It will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at GS1 Schweiz, Monbijoustrasse 68 in Bern.


Deep Learning methods have shown significant success in tackling some of the major long-standing challenges in Machine Learning. Particular applications to Image Analysis, Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing and many others demonstrate the important advances in this field.


In this workshop, we review some of the major trends, with a focus on applications that are becoming viable for the industry.

Call for Posters

We invite posters on all aspects of Deep Learning. The poster session will provide an opportunity to present your work and receive feedback from the community.

 

Submissions must include a draft of the poster to receive feedback before the conference as well as a short biography of the poster presenter. Presented posters can be sized up A1, either portrait or landscape, but should be scaled down to A4 for submission as a PDF. Each contribution should be written in English. More information
